Francophone Master Program in International Relations

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am glad to inform you that the International and Regional Studies Institute (IRSI) of the University of Szeged (Hungary) is launching the application procedure for its Francophone Master Program in International Relations. The students who apply for this Master program can choose between two specialties:

1) Specialty of European Studies

2) Specialty of Europe-Africa Development

Through the above-mentioned two specialties students have the opportunity for obtaining Joint Master Degrees at the end of their studies. In the framework of the Specialty of European Studies, in addition to the Master Degree of the University of Szeged, students can get the Master Degree of the Lille Institute of Political Studies (I.E.P. de Lille) or of the Babes-Bolyai University. Students who study at our new Specialty of Europe-Africa Development will acquire the Master Degree of the University of Szeged and of Senghor University of Alexandria. The Specialty of European Studies includes also a student mobility period in Lille (France) or, in case, in Cluj (Romania).

The lectures are provided by professors coming from European-wide recognized universities, including, for an important number of them, the Catholic University of Leuven, as well as by professional experts in order to guarantee a high level theoretical and practical educational training. French is the education and working language of this Master program which allows the IRSI to recruit international students coming from the regions of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as of Western Europe and Africa. In that way, the Master program is ideal for students who are open-minded and wish to study in a multicultural environment. This year, the deadline of application has been fixed to 15 June 2014

Hoping that this short presentation has drawn your attention, I would like to ask you to consult and forward to students who could be interested the below attached document containing all necessary practical and educational information about the Francophone Master Program in International Relations, and to inform them about our availability to answer their questions and suggestions.

I thank you in advance for your cooperation,

Best regards,

Peter Kruzslicz,
Program Director
